Iona: “I’m fixing your shoe.”
Me: “By fixing, you mean taking all the laces out?”
Iona: “Yes.”
Then she put them back.
Iona: “There. I fixed your shoe.”

Very helpful little girl.
Looks like the left shoe might be possible if you tightened it enough.
What is especially precious, and doesn’t show in the picture, is your Daddy’s heart. You understood the child-like “fix” and valued the experience enough to send the photo. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I’m even going to try wearing them like that, before maybe showing her how to do it properly.
You have just created one of my posters for the 2008 office wall.
TAX REFORM
Iona: I’m fixing your taxes.
Dad: By fixing, you mean taking all the loopholes out?
Iona: Yes. (She puts them back.) There. I fixed your taxes.
Please send the high-res picture to Kim.
I really needed that Belly laugh.
Jim, I think that is the best idea of the next 5 tax seasons. I will have to share it with my accountant. If it is not too much trouble when Kim finishes photo shopping it send me a copy. Thanks Lisa
